An Ideal Brother

This is a story about two brothers, Nagarmalji and NandKishoreji, who took different paths in life. Despite their differences, they shared a strong bond of respect and love.

Nagarmalji and Nandkishoreji were brothers, and their lives took different paths. Nagarmalji chose to live in the countryside, dedicating most of his time to caring for their ageing parents. He was highly respected for his profound wisdom, contented nature, and impeccable behaviour.

Nandkishoreji, on the other hand, ventured into a bustling life in Calcutta. He partnered with a related family and built a prosperous business empire. With a big family of his own, Nagarmalji entrusted the management of the business to his brother, NandKishoreji. NandKishoreji was not only an astute and efficient businessman but also well-liked for his warm and generous demeanour.

One day, NandKishoreji, a sharp observer, couldn't help but notice the disparities between his own family's financial situation and that of his elder brother Nagarmalji. Nagarmalji had more expenses, especially concerning the impending weddings of his children. Without uttering a word to anyone, NandKishoreji decided to take action. He made a selfless choice, reducing his own share of the business profits to increase Nagarmalji's portion.

Over time, this act of generosity had a significant impact, resulting in a substantial difference in income, ultimately amounting to thousands and eventually even lakhs of rupees each year. Yet, NandKishoreji kept his noble gesture a secret from Nagarmalji, well aware that his elder brother would not have allowed it. Both brothers were known for their unwavering principles and honourable conduct.

The story shows us the powerful impact of selfless acts. NandKishoreji, noticing his brother's financial struggles, quietly reduced his own share of the business profits to help Nagarmalji. This unspoken generosity grew over time, making a significant difference in their income. The story teaches us about the beauty of giving without expecting anything in return, and how such acts can have a lasting impact on relationships. The blessings they receive go beyond material gains, reminding us that the best deeds often bring rewards that are felt in the heart.
